The Plaza
It is there I can feel the sun, The wind dancing about my face, Rain drizzling sparkles in the light Washing away fear, every single trace, The sounds an orchestra under deep blue skies A chorus in this wondrous ancient place. The colours swim in endless waves, The reds and greens in tapestry Complimenting swarming dancers As they abound with modesty, Shadows play games with floating light A play in nature's majesty. Hear the voices of those before Who worked and sang and dreamed, Spirits soared, imaginations peaked Where visions were more than what they seemed, And my lost soul with struggles fierce Has a place to be redeemed.
