Let It Go
Teeter, totter, Cannon fodder, Riff raff and gruff. Tilt and twirl, Loop and whirl, The ride will never stop. Dips and rips, Curls and swirls, Ticking hands upon the clock. I look up, I look down, I look all around. There is no escape. I hold on tight but there's never light. I find another way. My mouth is tight, I let it go, The chiclets shine so white! My eyes are tired, I let it go, I swear I heard them sigh! The belt is tight, I let it go, Oh, what relief! My grip pains me, I let it go, My palms are cramped and bloody! I take a sigh and stretch my limbs, Then stand and take a bow. The moment of nigh is now; Within a note I confide, Then take a step off the nonstop ride... The note was simple, It said, Goodbye.
