A mile in my shoes

Never judge me.
Until you walk, a mile in my shoes.

I’m walking this road
	 With pain piercing my head.
Every step I take
	 Is hurting inside.

All for this, the pride I hold.
All for what?
Just the vanity I grow!!

I bought this to me,
I had it coming.
Want to slip it down, and let it go.
My journey to end is stretching time.
The choice I’ve made
	Is making me drag.
Can’t rest my foot;
Neither can I step, nor hold my ground.
Hiding my tears,
Faking a smile,
Slowly I limb; towards safe end.
It’s piercing my skin and claws my bone,
Blood on my leg,
Smeared in my socks.
Leather when new, it hurts I know.

I’m walking this road
	 With pain piercing my head.
Every step I take
	 Is hurting inside.

All for this, a brand new shoe
All for What?
Just a fancy new shoe!!

Don’t judge me.
Until you walk, a mile in my shoes.
Not till you walk,
A mile in my new shoes.
