menoh
Let this smoke be the last of it,
Burning your memory beside my bed,
Letter after letter
Thought after thought,
A love I fought to win over
I now release in the glory of its death.

Let this fire cleanse it all,
Failed instincts turned truths
Blatant flaws into secrets,
The love I broke down walls for,
Killed the hope within

Let the wind take the ashes,
The bitterness of broken dreams
Shall sail away on the waves,
For new love approaches to
Breach the walls of ice
And causing the heart to beat again.
