Social Outcast
I sit on the periphery Staring in, observing, But no matter how hard I try I just don’t understand There’s a call for change, Everyone joins in Marches toward the goal Then puts the same people in charge Because only they, know how to run things I just don’t understand A person asks for help, They tell their tale of woe Then rebuff all attempts to aid And rebuke all advice given “Don’t tell me how to live,” they say, “It’s my life” I just don’t understand People tell me, take my advice, Talk differently, walk differently, Act like us, or you’ll have no friends As I explain my anxiety, they say Don’t worry, just be yourself, I just don’t understand I use to think no one understood me, Now I realize, I don’t understand anyone.

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
