Violets

Violets 
                          *******
                      
                        The violets 
                     are back in bloom. 
               Blue, black and purple patches 
                 adorn her tender landscape. 
               Planted by his calloused hands, 
             the favorite flowers of the violent 
                  sprout beneath a shower 
                         of tears.
