A good meal

Why do we so eagerly devour 
A Happy Meal of lies and deceit?
Gaze into the empty bag looking for the receipt
To see if it is coupon and discount for the next time we eat.
We avoid a seven course meal of honesty and truth.
Starting with cavier and bouillabaisse
Opting for trans fat fries of apathy that has no taste.
Pre frozen patties with no nutrition at all.
But, we will stand in line.............waiting.
For any lie we will fall.
