Winter Lament 1995

30 Apr 2004

Rennette
In stark nudity
Baring her soul she reaches out
The fine twigs in deep humility
Her need and hunger dare to shout
Stripped of all her camoflage:-
Gay leaves bouncing in the wind
Covering the grey twigs: her enterage
For what season and what reason? Has she sinned?
Now is the winter of her discontent
Longing for the warmth of autumn intimacy
It's a wild uncontrolled winter lament
Unreasoned unseasoned
Un-clemancy'd
