hellfire
a door flew open
hinges
screaming bloody murder
upon the breeze
the scent of crayons
rose petals
and techni-colored fluttering
of butterfly wings
shanghaied me
to realms
of one eyed pirates
and princesses
still waiting to be rescued
her eyes
franticly bouncing
between
walls and ceilings
as if she was trying
to remember
something important
she abandoned me
as quickly as she came
to stir
my murky waters
her footsteps
now fading
down the hallway
from a distance
close to Mars
she shouts:oh yes daddy!
now I remember!
teacher Mackay shot himself today
