Fire and blood

The blood of the innocent spilled
For the old gods and new
Shed among the cries and prayers
That bid this world adieu.
The trees stand witness with silent sobs 
As men and families bled
In names of vengeance and honor shamed
Reclaimed in thousands dead.

For men of honor wear the crown
Tyrants wear their creed
And noble hearts can beatso black
As pirates serving heaven's deed.
