Jammed by White
This poem was written after reading 'It's White' by Poodles. If you read the poem and my Comments on it, you will see the inspiration. Canvas brilliant white, Holding so many a-picture, So many an-insight. I take a colour, Scarlet red, come within inches of starting to flow. Withdrawal of the hand, It's not the best colour here, Ishould first start on the background. I take out the light, summer sky blue, I get ever closer, and again withdrew. It should be a text of eternal refrain, Something to be remember by, Black is the colour for letters and names. As the brush washes clean and then gets dipped, Another thought occurs to me, No paint or colour needed on this iffigy, To taint the plain endless possibilities. I could put it together with more non-depiction, Create a wall that shouts out plain, A piece of modern art reflection, That life is each of ours to be made. Then there's removing all of the framework, Thinking outside the box. Cutting and pinning something for the catwalk, Or something that's nothing at all. My brain is seeing so many persuasions, Maybe it's best left just the way it is.
