Deckard
I whisper your name
over miles
built on nights
built on hope
then to the dreams
guilty relapses
into your arms
into your heart
I awaken to the mundane
the truth
pennance for
my assumptions
my thoughtless deeds
if only I knew that a glimpse
of me
passes your thoughts before you sleep
even if it be as rare as the Sun is eclipsed
my heart could rest
