I could get lost in that sea of green,
Blades reminding me I am of this world still,
And this beating heart, the rhythm of love
Keeps time to songsters perched above.

In that ancient place, brought to life anew,
Standing empty, save for the love within us
Enough to become intertwined
Giving us a rope to heaven.

Now oceans apart, sun rising and sets
Playing hide and seek in the virtual world,
I scream to the winds to return my love,
Back to my arms, to hold once more

The musical notes of your love
Still keeps time to the rhythm of mine
That tether binds strong, eternal
Indestructible.
