Waves
When to myself, there's silence for my soul, That calm is what I need I'm sure, to rest And slow the speeding of my heart, that's set To answer with emotions, that like waves, Build up, and gather mass to land upon The shores in lapping, heartfelt sorrowings, That wash away, sweeping back from the sands, And leave them damp, awaiting their return.
