I observe you
I observe you- falling apart That fire that once graced your eyes fading away Wondering what they've done to your fragile heart As sadness is now your bay, Your eyes show me wrath Hope you don't think of Death. I observe you struggle crawling in a dark; misty; swampy jungle as it engulfs you and helplessly you tremble. I observe you- dressing yourself with shame and accepting the hounds of defeat Hope- was once your name but now you can't stand with your feet, Mellifluously you sang but now you cry I am only an observer- not a spy. I observe you and stretch my hand but you seem to be at a distant land making us a dysfunctional strand.

You may see the world thru my words. You may see yourself thru my words. But mostly you may assume my poetry is about me. If a line kicks off the edge, imagine what a poem would do.
