Winston's Dog

20 Nov 2019

thepoorpoet
The dog is back, Winston,
Its hair is in moult.
All over my clothes,
I exist in revolt,

I struggle to move,
And exit my cage.
I'm doomed to lose,
And it puts me in rage.

She was too good for me,
Though I held the knife,
Why didn't she plea,
It could have saved my life.
