FORBIDDEN LOVE

Aneska
I would never have allowed myself, to be with you in that way,
if only I knew what was waiting for me, and how much I would want you to stay.
The hours in your arms was pure heaven,
your breath on my skin was like gold.
Your lips on my body felt like burning flames,
Your touch is imprinted in my soul.
The passion between us ignited, to something we never thought real.
The wounds, however, it would leave behind,
will take a very long time to heal.
The miracle that we created, was living inside of me.
And I felt the little guy growing, as I prayed we could let him be free.
But the world was too small for his glory,
his life would have been ripped apart.
So I made the choice to release him, with a heavily broken heart.
He will stay in my soul forever, as reminder of what we have shared.
I just wish the pain of forbidden love,
the both of us could be spared.
