To show you why I did not dwell on the painting/drawing image in Within The Night's Embrace, here is an earlier poem I wrote (2 years ago)~~ we have to strive for originality eh?
Poet Painter

There is no part of me untouched by you,
no valley, slope, eyelash or vein.
Every sense is aroused, oh poet of mine,
my heart is the kingdom over which you reign.
As you caress me with all that you are,
pleasure, like ripples in stimulated streams,
spreads to every alcove of my being.
You, my poet, paint the colours of my dreams.
The stars, even in their shimmering allure,
do not draw my eyes with the same desire
as the love I see reflected in your eyes.
Paint me happy, let your palette conspire.
I am the canvas upon which you etch,
nothing of me is concealed from your gaze,
take up your brush, stroke me perfect for you,
I am your Muse, you’re my Poet Painter always.
