A MAN’S TEARS
A MAN’S TEARS I’ve got some depression’s caution And being overwhelmed by emotions, I’m missing my quiet times, how I used to lay back in slow motion I never though I’d reminiscing by the ocean Now as my cigarette burns I watch it’s ashes blow away, I see the seconds and the days, of your day coming your way whilst my heart keeps filling with hate and even though so, I still roll in my Escalade all the way to Love Boulevard down different memory lanes, I’ve been wailing, weeping and crying, and my hope is slowly dying Too many thoughts, fight in my mind My tears don’t dry despite, my scars that go wide inside For all the pain in my heart, that I’m feeling, spearing every night For every single drop of tears that I’ve shed over the years, Just like the philosophic Zulu says a man’s tears never fall on the ground For everything that goes around, it surely comes back around …your day is coming.
