Journey

Candles aflame, shimmers in silence
Breaking into the darkness.  Lips lock
In the backdrop of a nothingness,
Of a paradise.  Emotions run high, bodies quiver
Until at last, exhales.
Resistance is no more.
Their consummation is complete.
And when the passion sighed, they lay
In silence,  
Holding onto the dreams of delight.  
Shadows cast against walls that could tell 
Stories of love, and of the intensity
With which their bodies created the fires
That burned within.  Caressing each other's
Souls in the silence of adulation, hearts beat
To the rhythms of Love's contentment.
