Mother

Jewel
Lavender weaves its soft spell,
Penetrating your senses of smell,
Filling every part of your being,
Making your presence known without seeing.
A lifeline casting loving awareness,
Never judging or unfairness.
Watching my journey through life enfold,
Knowing of many a tear untold.
Always on the other side of the line,
Listening to this life of mine.
Cushioning the hardship that life can bring,
Removing the thorn causing the sting.
My mother you will always be,
A very special friend who means all to me.
