" POOR OLD POE"

When I looked at Poe, it wasn't pretty,
this guy was headed for "Tap city".
                       People sometimes do act strange,
but this lad wandered off the range.
                       Between that Raven and Lenore,
they drove this man right out the door.
Birds or broads, you make the pick,
either one can make you sick.
To sit and talk right to a bird,
Now, doesn't that really sound absurd?
But, Edgar Allen did just that,
                       while the craven, Raven.........sat.
                       Many questions Edgar asked,
                       hoping answers were unmasked.
but all throughout his chamber door,
                       that bird kept saying, "Nevermore".
                       Well that monotonous reply,
cracked old Edgar, by and by.
Men in white coats came one day,
                       and carried Poor Old Poe..away.
Because he'd let that Raven in,
he wound up in the "looney bin"
Now he sits in a laced jacket,
                       locked behind a padded door,
and all day long, he keeps on mumbling,
                         "Never, Never, Nevermore"

But all within his chamber door,
 he just kept hearing, "Nevermore"!

 Well, this monotonous reply,
cracked old Edgar, by and by.

Then ,men in white coats came one day,
and carried "Poor Old Poe" away.

Because he let that Raven in,
he wound up in the "Looney Bin"

Now he sits in a laced-jacket,
 locked behind a guarded door.

And all day long,he sits there shouting,
"Never , Never ,.........Nevermore"!!!!!!!!!

"Never-----Never------Nevermore".
