The Mockingbird

hellfire
Sing ,mockingbird sing…
Sing from these twisted
barbwire fences,
which lacerate your thoughts
with the faint flickers of falsified bliss.
Beneath these clouds that gather,
with ominous intentions,
beat a heart-song
louder than thunderous drums.
Raise your voice to heavenly ears
and flutter these tattered wings.
Proclaim your fate and
abolish your fears,
as you
sing , mockingbird sing....
