I Burn

hellfire
I burn...I burn for you
Trapped beneath
these ruptured volcanoes
Spilling luscious-red lava
That
liquefy my chains of resistance
Sway these spectrums
through delectable corners
of my mind
Delight my senses
And all the while,
The pendulum swings,
Back and forth
Through these parallel worlds of
Infinite possibilities, cursed realities
And yet,
It is foretold that:
The fruits of an undying heart
Shall always remain, sweetest
As the crescent moon,
gently retreats
And patience reign, unchallenged
For even through iron bars
The sun shines just as bright
Are we not in favor of destiny?
You, me
I burn; I still, burn for you….
