I am retired, having worked primarily as a librarian, but have done freelance proofreading, copy editing, and book reviewing. I wrote some poetry many years ago, but decided it was bad and stopped, since I had other things to do. For the last ten months I’ve begun again, partially as exercise for an aging mind, partly because I feel I have things to say, and partly to find out whether I was right years ago and am really bad at poetry. To people who critique me, be gentle but honest.
