Beginnings
Eventually all things come to pass, A time proven fact. Time invested, wasted in a broken heartbeat. Laughter, Tears, Affection, Gone for good. Endings are sorrowful affairs and they leave scars. Scars that run deep and haunt our souls. But like the phoenix, beginnings rise from the ashes. They bring with them, hope, desire, a better way of life. A beginning heralds the death of an end. The corner stone of humanity is our ability to brush off our shoulders, dump the baggage, and start afresh. Every poet will know There is nothing more challenging Than a blank, glaring page Staring up at you Taunting and challenging you to move your pen and create something beautiful. * For Jls as promised!
