Self Intervention

menoh
My thoughts on you have faded,
Heart won't beat the same,
I try so hard to remember
But can't recall your name

The rainclouds gather about my head
Projected to clear until I'm dead

So I scream at you to wake up
But they fall on your deaf ears,
The voice inside me breaking down
And I can't control my tears,
Am standing on the very edge
The darkness calls below,
I need you now to take my hand
More than you'll ever know

The rainclouds gather about my head
Projected to clear until I'm dead

I look deep, probing
Those indifferent eyes,
No smile to cover
No mask to create lies,
I speak to you like a child
Hoping to break through,
What lies in the mirror
To a previously better you

But the rainclouds gather about my head
Projected to clear until I'm dead
