Red Ballet
I sit and admire the entertainers All dressed in different shades of red So beautiful while in control, How soothing is the ballet’s flow With its dancers moving to and fro Radiating light, and bringing warmth To many a cold heart While warm and inviting, set in its stage Of bricks and mortar or circles of stone I dare not allow this dance to grow, Because of the many lives it claims I will always respect The red ballet
