What is Life?
What is life? My brain confused, In-most feelings I can’t define; Words in mind I can’t relate, Thoughts so blurred, no longer mine. What is life? The wind I feel - Sun so warm upon my face; Pavement’s dusty and glare so great - Physical feelings I can embrace. What has life? Now for me? Heart so leaden, I feel so drained; Mem’ry withers and fades so fast, This a life for me ordained? My life will ever happy be - If I know your love is there for me. 18 June 2017 This is a sort-of sonnet for all those fearing the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, a common form of dementia. A likely increase in the disease, as more elderly people live to a greater age, is likely to put an increasing strain on governmental and local finances – a factor authorities (government and other) appear reluctant to cover in an adequate manner.

Love creativity - especially writing - poems especially. Love my wife, cats, our church, reading, warm weather (so rare here!) and snow - quite common these days - even in spring....
