Would You

would you sit
and watch
as i took the clay-of-life
and molded it
to a corpse
would you try
and stop
as the grief and tears
overtook the whole
of it
would you stand
and act
in the defense of a straw-man
walking a bed
of coals
would you revert
and re-invigorate
a past life
as the disease of loss
sated and became
a gossamer memory
