"TAPS"
There's quite a list of bugle calls, for many different things.
Yet none but one conveys the mood that "TAPS" so softly brings.
Those notes would total twenty-four, a very simple music score,
but oh it's haunting melody, would leave a lasting memory.

they felt emotion and were moved, and many even shed a tear.
Played slowly in the key of C , it has a certain majesty.
It makes one ponder and reflect, a time to pay our deep respect.
The North and South had gone to war, because of slavery,
Yet both would use this bugle call, on that they would agree.........
