Life of the party monster

He starts his evening with a sip and a smile, a girly pop tune on the radio dial. Freshly pressed outfit laid out on the bed. Shiny black waves sit on top of his head. A last look in the mirror and a nod, he approved. But be aware of the beast that’s released once the mask is removed.

Demanding his song while we ride with a stranger, one hand holding a red cup full of danger. Whether the windows are down or or the a/c is on, his mask could fly off before his drink is gone. So double check your seat belt and say a little prayer because the beast could come out before you get there.

Upon arrival, a drink will be first. Two empty hands and an unquenchable thirst. The mask begins to peel as the many drinks go down, the waves lose their luster, smile become frown. The party is over, it’s time to survive. Fun turns to fear, the beast has arrived.
