Candle
The world still turns As time draws short While the flame that burns Uncovers the voided port Which will destroy the candle You cannot see it Nor can they as they study All looks well from outside The flame burns as it should They cannot see the void Even though the candle Can feel the wrongness inside Stability gently wanes Slowly compounding, Thinning cylindrical panes Yield to the void within The candle is broken, Its light gone out, If only you understood The flames gentle flicker And known what the candle Felt inside, before it was gone

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
