At a time least anticipated I found you 
Crawling through the endless pits
Trouble unbound, worming through  
Unlike anything that came before 
Mistrust despite ringing true 
You promised a nest of safety and forgiving 
Drip fed the nectar and calm ensues 
I fall and bury deep in the ground
