Come Back To Me
All these nights spent in the darkness alone The shadows enveloping the pieces of my soul Shattered dust of what once was whole Falling down like acid rain The echoes of pleas for solace and peace For only one second, just a release A respite from the solitude, at least Never comes for me, only pain Tomorrow turns into the past The bleeding wounds turn to scars at last I rip them open and let them bleed fast The only time, your face I'll see Asking why, to never know Looking at a mirror that always shows The loneliness crushing my spirit below Won't you please come back to me?
