Pierre
silhouettes
in the setting sun

a bobbing
boat-filled harbour

salt bitten cottages
and the quilted peace
of a strange bed

leaded windows
and fresh fanged breezes
that comb
hillsides and trees

all the kindnesses
that I have known

conspired with you
to find such beauty
in the simplest things

night-night my love
see you in the morning
