What Now
I’ve accomplished all the tasks I set My hobbies complete, I got all I can get, New science mirrors what I have done, New break throughs I wish would come Writing stories will no longer please Sitting untouched because no one reads My improvement plans for which my family yearn Wait for the money I never will earn, Exercise and trips, sound nice when said, But not when your loved ones are depressed in bed. I need something new that can save my mind So I can give my family some joy to find But when nothing you see comes as a surprise When nothing makes them want to open their eyes When your soul shrinks from the coming storm And the clouds no longer respond to Thor When no one can seem to tell you how What Now?
