illumination glows from within,
that bottomless abyss
no longer alludes
to metamorphic
self preservation,
my un-seeing eyes - see all within
this journey can now begin....
and if i find my personal olympus
what steps take i to ascend its height,
shall i be swayed 
from my goal?
will i hear the sirens temptations
or will lucifer a bond with me make,
promising a bountiful life
with riches surpassing my wildest dreams,
will the cunning wolf
disguise himself
and narrate faery tales
of life and love to come?
and when i am shown
my struggle...to discover 
the steps to peak
my mount olympus,
i shall not rage
before this sight..but gently
walk towards the light
without fear,
cleansed from all self doubt
for i am the gladiator..
