Ageing...

Ageing process, with ups and downs,
Has lighter moments, and some frowns!
There are misadventures,
Like those missing dentures,
Hidden away by young clowns!
No more sleepless nights,
Over darned silly fights!
With a clearer perspective,
Good friends - most selective...
Away with all parasites!
Eat slower, not quicker,
Cut back on the liquor!
But goblets red wine,
So fine when I dine...
Are also good for the ticker!
Need more exercise...
Get girth back to size!
Keep eye on my diet...
Stem weighty disquiet,
Better health the ultimate prize!
 
More time for long walk,
Or informative talk!
But all older beware...
Thugs lurk everywhere,
As criminals soft targets do stalk!
Will not go to seed...
A good chance to read!
But with square orbs...
As TV absorbs,
Oh! dear, my pants I have peed!
But the void in my life
Is no consort or wife!
For this cranky old relic,
Needs someone angelic,
With absentmindedness rife!
