What I value

26 Oct 2004

nature
When the value of lifeless things
Recedes in the shadows of greed,
The call from Mother Nature
shall no longer be in vain.
Showers of joy shall kiss
the bare soils of my Africa.
For the boundery of pride, fear
And illiteracy shall be stoned down.
Yes put flat by confrontation
For the day of recognition
shall wipe down all the webs
In every corner of Africa
But before the tears of anger and selfishness
ruin the joy,let the blindness of my people
be history.
