Go ye forth
The silences of my soul; the councils of my heart, and here I heard a voice “Speak,” I heard it say And I said “me,” and I said; “why” And I said “how” and “when” and “where” and many crooked exclamations; ill-begotten, convoluted conversations, And yet no resolution, restitution…? “Speak,” I hear it say, “but how shall I, yes me?” Son of the unblessed Seeker of misfortune Guardian of the empty city Speak my name if thou knowest me; Tell me who I am, no, who you are. There be little understanding for what I am. But voice in my head, be thou real? Alas, for what is real and what is not? “Speak” I heard it say “Speak and they will come” “Speak and ye shall grow” “Speak for I am here” “Speak for I am listening” “Speak and question me not” “Speak and question ye not” “Speak and go ye forth.”
