gaze of moon
finally succumbs
to the subtleties of
earthly splendors,

under glittery blanket.
drop back and sink into
my mirrored lake
of liquid dreams.
ever so heavenly,
on a bed of seaweed
I slumber,
till the devil comes a knocking…
