Sudden Light
I stand in the middle of a park there where no one can see, just around the corner, there where I am alone. I wonder what it was that I had held on for so long, for so many years. I have prayed to bring this to an end, a BRIGHT LIGHT, I shout! It's heading right at me! Like magic, tight in my palm, I squeeze away the pain.
