A TRIBUTE TO MY HERO

Who would have thought my giant would depart,
Everything he wanted to finish
Mabe never got to start,
Every dream he ever had
He got robbed of seeing thru,
He spent his life helping people ,like me and you.
Strangers to society, he’ll embrace them good,
Embedding them with knowledge
Plus giving them food,
A cool dude,
Mabe was a playa born in his day,
He did life his own way until he passed away.
Many people didn’t know the true (M.A.B.E)
Some knew BRA OUPA
Others knew LEROLE,
Some knew PETER MABE, PAC as his life,
No one knew till 2000, doctor never had a wife.
Honda’s benzes taxis beemers,
You can name them all,
Dr Mabe drove them all
That’s why he walked so tall

Larger than life,
Dam them papers were rite,
A humble giant, till the day you push him into a fight,
Love him , he loved you ten times more,
Even when his days were dark and his heart was sore.
He’ll never show it, He always kept a smile,
Hold your hand, was able to carry you for a while,
On his back, never would he complain,
Always glad to help out, even if his in pain.
Daddy dearest, Papa, My Friend, My king,
I miss you so much-especially when you started to sing,
Old blue eyes, My Way, That’s Life, Nancy,
You’ll Never Find, Ojays playing without Daddy,
Elvina, Close The Door- Coz You’re The Love Of My Life,
My Girl, Listen To The Clock On The Wall.
One In A Million,
That whats my best friend was,
It hurts to think you’ll never hear me sing you this poem.

Solomon
Peter
Lerole
Oupa
Tshikare
Rasthlako
Mabe
My father
No wonder, No body could trace him,
Imitate or Hate him,
Back chat at him
Disrespect him, No way
Mabe was too pure, for any evil to try and lure
His goodness, kind heart
Bright spark
A new start,
You singing with the Angels
Busy showing off your talents.
Your death made me a man Pa’
I want to make you proud Dad,
At times I get so lost I see
The guidance you instilled in me
I’m gonna graduate man
Make my parents so glad
That you guys made me
Then you’ll be smiling down from heaven see
You and me shall meet
Someday in eternity
Sipping on your scotch mix
Mixing it with fanta, geez
I Miss so much dad,
But your death made me kind of glad,
Never shall you stress again
In heavens were your woes did end..
