Night and Day
Night falls upon us, shadows entwined, Darkness surrounds us, a blanket unkind. The whole world stands still, in silence we tread, As fear wraps its arms ‘round the thoughts in our head. But lo! In the distance, a flicker, a spark, The light suddenly appears, dispelling the dark. A whisper of hope, like the dawn breaking free, Now we know that peace and victory will be. With hearts that were heavy, now lifted on high, We rise from our fears, like the sun from the sky. Together we stand, through trials we soar, In this moment of courage, we’re ready for more. So let the night linger, let shadows take flight, For within us burns brightly the flame of our light. In the face of the storm, we embrace what’s in store, With hope as our compass, forever we’ll soar.
