The Days of Future Past
You didn't think this could happen on a sunny summer Sixties afternoon, you and your guys cruisin' the park, lookin' at girls, listenin' to Pretty Woman, ridin' the horses of your GTO, three deuces and a four speed and a 389, lookin' to drag, lightin' a fag, what of the future, the future is now. But no, what's really in the future, don't turn your head away, the music they'll be playin' is Amazing Grace as they get ready to load you into that Cadillac, long and dark shiny and black, take you to a place you won't never get back. But why do I tell you these things, what purpose will be served? Maybe I'm just jealous, already hear the thrum of that Caddy's engine and smell its exhaust. So I'll just move along to where it takes me, you enjoy today, don't think about tomorrow, don't get caught up in those days of future past.
