How It Works

Make your profile public and opt in to be featured on the home page. As more poets join and opt in, a dedicated featured profiles section will appear on the home page, helping readers discover new voices in the community.

To be eligible, you need a public profile with a profile picture and an "About me" bio. You also need to have been a member for at least a month and have published at least 3 poems. Once you meet these requirements, you can toggle the featured option in your profile settings.

Opting in makes you eligible to be shown, but being featured isn't guaranteed at any particular time. A rotating selection of featured poets is shown on the home page, so every eligible poet gets their moment in the spotlight.

Want more eyes on a poem you're proud of? Boosting adds your poem to the featured section on the home page, where it's visible to everyone — both logged-in members and visitors browsing the site. As long as the poem isn't private, it will be showcased front and center.

Each boost costs ... credits and lasts ... days. You can boost the same poem multiple times (up to ... times total) to keep it featured. You can have up to ... poems boosted at the same time.

If many poets are boosting at the same time, the featured section rotates through all currently boosted poems, so every boosted poem gets its share of visibility. The more active the community, the more readers are browsing — so boosting is always worthwhile.

You can remove a boost early from your poetry dashboard, but credits will not be returned.

Compile your published poems into a downloadable PDF — a personal poetry collection you can print or share. Choose which poems to include, arrange them in your preferred order, and give your book a title.

The free tier lets you select up to 10 poems per download. For unlimited poems, downloads, and edits, you can upgrade for 25,000 credits — a one-time purchase.

Found a poem you love? Hit the heart button on any poem to add it to your favorites. Your favorite poems appear on your author profile below your showcase, giving visitors a window into what inspires you.

Favoriting is a great way to support fellow poets — it lets them know their work resonated with you, and helps other readers discover quality poetry through your curated picks.

Writing prompts are creative challenges that appear on the home page from time to time. There's no fixed schedule — they pop up when you least expect them, so check the home page regularly to catch the next one.

Each prompt runs for a limited time. When one is active, you can submit a poem in response. Submitting a prompt response earns you bonus credits on top of the usual publishing flow, making it one of the best ways to build up your credit balance.

Each prompt allows one submission per author, so make it count!
