3 Times

Three weeks that I’ve known you, Three times I’ve made you cry. Three times I’ve said something wrong, And wished that I could die. Three times you’ve said you love me, While I’m busy breaking your heart, Three times you’ve tried to patch things up, While I’m tearing them apart. Three times I’ve said I’m sorry, That I’ll never do it again. Three times you’ve said that it’s alright, While I’m driving you round the bend. Three times I’ve begged forgiveness, For another stupid call, Three times you’ve smiled, said ‘it’s ok’ While I let you take the fall. Three roses I will give you, When at last we finally meet, One for every time I’ve caused, You nothing less than grief. Three kisses I will give you, One for your mouth, one for each eye. It’s the only way that I know how, To say sorry for those times. Three times I've felt the guilt set in, For the terrible things I've done, And if a fourth time comes around, I wont blame you for moving on. This for you my darling, You’re more than I deserve, And my life is better for the fact, That God put you on this earth. I know it's just another soppy love poem from me but hey, it's what i'm going through at the moment.
