330am
3:30am. It is dark still, the wind blowing alive and fitful. In the last hours before the sky turns pale, the world takes its first majestic breaths. An eager awareness awakes as creaking trees watch silent armies march ever onward across the blackened expanse above, a febrile song sung soft from bladed green below. This is the ready-making of a thousand worlds unseen – when for a moment worlds crumble, stars revolve and burn fiercer still, and the feathered heralds of dawn fall mute… And then, a sigh… … as the first light bleeds westward into the black.
