3rd Possibility

Under the sun I sat thinking What would I do if my life starts sinking Blinking, Was brought back by my friends laughing Choking From the blunt we were puffing I was left out of a moment Coz I did not hear the joke They were left out of a moment Of the thought that stroke I wish I could share the laugh Coz it is as best as it gets in life I wish I could go back to my thought Coz the answer is my future’s plot In life’s two possibilities which one do you choose When they are both labelled “you loose” Life is like a rope of parousia knots Like reality made up of thoughts In life you can’t bridge the gap And you never take the right step What you do gives you satisfaction But most times it kills the next person What you eat feeds you But why is it food if it kills you In life you try to go forth And find yourself where you started Technology brings us growth But kills us when kids are aborted What if that brain had the ability to come with the cure for aids But then again could be a criminal that’s gonna carry blades Which possibility do we ignore? Which one do we explore? If you ask me I’d say the third possibility A direction we never took as the human entity To see this direction You need to ask yourself some questions Yes, I don’t like things that sadden me But with out them will the be those that make me happy? I write to write off the word negative But without it would I know what’s positive? I promote minds free from materialism Yet not respecting the values of individualism What is criticism? What do you think of the poem you are now reading? Isn’t analyzing the same as criticizing? Isn’t not doing the same as try? A lot is around and we don’t know why People die of lung cancer but we still smoke Is it addiction or we take life as a joke? Think about it….see the might be a 3rd Possibility
